From an early age, Sam knew her calling was to help others. She graduated from Central Washington University with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Community Health, and later earned her Master of Social Work from Baylor University, focusing on Mental and Physical Health. Sam finds deep meaning in listening to people’s stories, guiding them toward healing from trauma, fostering a positive relationship with food and their bodies, and helping them feel more connected to themselves—elements that are central to her work.

In her personal life, Sam enjoys hiking with her family and dog, exploring new places, listening to audiobooks and podcasts, and sipping coffee at local cafes. A native of Washington, she spent several years in Texas for her graduate studies and began her career as a therapist in the Dallas area. Returning to the Pacific Northwest in 2016, Sam returned to her roots.
